Employment opportunity:

First let me say thanks for being interested in being employed as a tutor and providing homework help with our company.

In the past I have tried sending work from students to other tutors, and I'd keep a small percentage for myself (about 10% to 20%).
However that has proven to be very time-consuming and I'm not going to do that any longer. Instead...

Employment option #1:

Find a tutor or become a tutor
at www.tutor-pages.com.

Please sign up as a tutor at www.tutor-pages.com with the promo code 31415926 to get 4 free months! (After the 4 free months the cost will be $25 for 6 months.) Tutors get to keep 100% of the money they earn!

Employment option #2:

Or you may pay for a page on this website which I will maintain to your specifications.

COST for a page on my website:
$50 per month during college semester months, $25 per month during the off months.
Besides the cost of the webpage, you keep 100% of the money that you earn!

You might ask yourself "Is it worth it?" The two tutors that have come on board have already gained quite a bit of success and business this way, and I'm sure that I can take on a few more tutors. In fact, I will let you have a month free of charge as a trial period!

FYI: I would especially like to have someone on board who can handle biology and other life sciences.

Requirements:
1. A PayPal account or other way to accept online payments.
2. A picture of yourself is helpful. People trust you more if they can see your face.
3. All the classes in which you offer tutoring services.
4. Your experience, location, and perhaps any other information that will help the search engines to notice your webpage.
5. You MUST have at least a 4-year degree in your field of expertise.
6. You MUST be VERY good at the work you do. I will not hire you if you do not have at least B's in your field of study (math, chemistry, physics, biology, etc.).
7. You MUST be very good with tutoring and providing homework help.
8. You MUST check your email frequently for possible tutoring work.
9. A phone number to contact you would be preferable, but is not necessary.

Send these items by email:
(1) Resume.
(2) Scan of your university transcripts.
(3) Your PayPal ID or other way to accept online payment.
(4) Your picture.
(5) Your experience, all course in which you offer tutoring; essentially your sales pitch.
(6) Your email and/or phone number that you would like to use for your business.
Send them here to this email address: mdavidroth@yahoo.com

PLEASE KEEP THESE THINGS IN MIND WHEN PROVIDING HOMEWORK HELP:

I will warn you now that I would like the work to be as close to perfect as possible. I know errors will be made occassionally, but please try to keep them to a minimum.

Also I would almost always like for the homework help to be done be hand, then scanned and emailed to me in an MS Word document. Handwriting must be neat and legible.

In other words I do usually not accept typed math unless the student specifies that it is to be typed.

Units and unit conversions must be shown for all science work. In other words, for the equation W = mg (weight equals mass times gravitational acceleration). Do not simply put W = 10*9.8 = 98.
You need to write it out like... W = (10 kg)(9.8 m/s²) = 98. N.

Hope to be working with you!
